BUYER'S PREMIUM INFO: ***All of Karla's Auctions have a 10% Buyers fee up to $500 per item. The Buyer's Premium is an additional fee (percentage) on the hammer price of the lot that must be paid by the Winner. It is charged by the Auctioneer to cover Administrative expenses and it goes directly to the Auction house. ***Example: If Bob is the winning bidder on a Table and Chair Set that he bid $100 on, and Buyer's Premium is 10% (10% x $100 = $10.00), Bob would pay $110 for the item, plus any other charges such as GST and/or PST. ***Example: If Bob won a Vehicle for $5,700 and the Buyer's Premium is 10% (10% x $5,700 = $570.00 Buyer's Premium); however, the Buyer's Premium is capped at $500 max. per item/lot so Bob would only pay $500 for the Buyer's Premium and not $570.00, plus any other charges such as GST and/or PST. RESTRICTED Firearms Pick-Up Procedure: 1. Upon Successful Winning of a RESTRICTED Firearm or RESTRICTED Lot, Karla's Auction with call you the following day to initiate the transfer, Have your RESTRICTED PAL Ready along with your Gun Club information. 2. The CFO for the jurisdiction receives the request and will review the transfer to make sure that the transferee is acquiring the restricted firearm or prohibited handgun for one of the permitted purposes (Firearms Act, Section 28). This will be done online. 3. The transferee will need to get an Authorization to Transport (ATT) to transport the restricted firearm to its new location. There is no fee for an ATT. Call the CFP at 1-800-731-4000 or submit form RCMP 5490. 4. Both the Karla's Auction and the transferee will receive a confirmation notice to let them know the transfer is complete. 5. Upon receipt of confirmation, Karl'as Auction will contact you and make arrangements for pick-up. NOTE: ***Purchasers of firearms and ammunition must produce their PAL card before possession will be allowed. ***Every gun is sold with a TRIGGER LOCK in place and must NOT be removed until off of the Auction yard. Please be advised, that given the current pandemic circumstances, this process may take several weeks. 1.The title, ownership and right of property in the said good shall not pass the purchaser but shall remain the interest of the auctioneer by way of an assingment from the vendor until the entire purchase price and interest, if any, and all costs and expenses on a solitor and client basis are fully paid, this to include the payment of any judgements secured and all legal costs on a solicotor and client basis associated with the seizure of the said goods. 2.The auctioneer will not be responsible for any errors, defects, or fault concerning any goods sold as each item is sold as it is and without any recourse against the auctioneer. 3.Storage of any purchase shall be at the sole risk of the purchaser. The auctioneer will not be held responsible if the said good are lost, stolen, damages, destroyed, resold, or dealt with any other manner 4.All NSF cheques will be reported immediately to the appropriate authority.
